Costs can and do vary! The price starts at $34.00 for each Wyoming Birth Certificate, which includes one certified copy of the Birth Certificate. The state can and does change its prices without any warning. We try to keep these web pages up to date, but the actual and most current price will be shown on the order page when you order online. To check the most current price, click HERE. There is a minimum $15.00 charge for each additional certified copy ordered at the same time. If you would like to rush your request then there will be an additional charge of $25.00.
            
Turnaround Times for Wyoming are usually 7 to 10 business days, but this can vary depending on the county, the workload at the records office, and the status of the birth certificate. We do our best to expedite every application, BUT we do not own these records, and we are dependant on the records repositories to supply these birth records. Record Availability - scattered records are available earlier than 1857.  Full records are available from 1907 to present. Records prior to October 1, 1907 are available, however they are very incomplete, and they have to be recovered from archive and the turnaround time may be significantly longer.
    
A signed release is required to obtain a copy of the Birth Certificate.  Wyoming law states that Birth Certificates are only available to the following individuals:

• Person Named on the Certificate
• Mother/Father (or Legal Guardian)
• Legal Representative of an Authorized Person
• Individuals with a legitimate and legal reason to search for genealogical purposes   

      
Delivery Time:  Results are sent to you either by regular US Postal Service mail. We are able to fulfill rush orders using an express carrier such as FedEx, but rush orders can ONLY be delivered to a street address, not to a PO Box or military address. We cannot guarantee turnaround time as we are dependent on the state getting back to us in a timely fashion, and this can vary widely with the load that the records office is experiencing. County offices have limited personnel and are often swamped with paper work.
